Logistics, Compliance and Scaling: Building a Long-Term Growth

Eany is not just another marketplace - it positions itself as the infrastructure layer connecting brands, distributors, logistics companies, and SaaS solutions.

We built Eany after experiencing firsthand how complex it can be to work with multiple providers while running our own Amazon reseller business. Today, Eany stands at the center of this ecosystem - bridging the gap between key service providers:

  • Logistics companies: DHL, FedEx, UPS
  • Distributors: ALSO, ACTEBIS, Ingram Micro
  • SaaS solutions: Helium10, Keepa
  • Dropshipping providers: Etsy, Alibaba

Competitors Landscape

Get your paperwork in order

  • VAT registration: When storing goods in a country, you must register for VAT there. For example, foreign sellers need a German VAT number as soon as they start selling or store goods in Germany. Similarly, sellers using Dutch fulfilment centers need a Dutch VAT number. Eany’s profit calculator factors in VAT rates, but you still need to register and file returns.
  • Product compliance: Electronics and other regulated products require CE certification; testing can take 4-8 weeks. Plan this before listing.
  • EPR and packaging: Countries like Germany require registration for packaging and electronics recycling. Eany will soon integrate these costs into its calculations.

Choose the right fulfilment strategy

  • FBA and PanEuropean FBA: Send inventory to Amazon’s warehouses and let Amazon handle storage, packing, shipping and returns. PanEU FBA stores stock across multiple countries for faster delivery, but requires VAT registration in each storage country.
  • MCF (MultiChannel Fulfilment): Use Amazon’s network to fulfil orders from other marketplaces (eBay, Cdiscount) or your own website. You manage one inventory pool but sell everywhere.
  • Bol’s FBB: Similar to FBA but focused on the Netherlands and Belgium; no monthly fees and nextday delivery to Benelux customerslinnworks.com.
  • Direct fulfilment: For niche or highmargin products, you can ship orders yourself (FBM). This works best when items are small and margins are high.

Eany’sconsolidated shipments (with 0 % VAT) reduce inbound logistics costs, while MCF and FBA spread your products across Europe for seamless crossborder delivery.

Scale intelligently

  1. Diversify your marketplaces. Once you have stable sales on Amazon and Bol, expand to Allegro, Cdiscount or ManoMano. Each platform has unique strengths.
  2. Automate operations. Use software to manage repricing, stock synchronization and VAT filings. This frees time to focus on sourcing and marketing.
  3. Invest in marketing. Sponsored listings on Amazon and platformspecific ads boost visibility. Start with small budgets and monitor return on ad spend.
  4. Maintain excellent service. High seller ratings are crucial for winning the Buy Box on Amazon or achieving top rankings on Bol and Cdiscount.
